This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the osservatorio.unieticpmi.it website uses, what they are for and how you can manage your choices. It supplements the Privacy Policy, which identifies the data controller (UniEticPmi) and explains how to exercise your rights.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the visitor's device and reads back on later visits. Technical cookies are needed for the site to work and do not require your consent. Statistics and marketing cookies are only activated if you allow them.
Technical cookies
They are always active, because the site would not work properly without them. They are first-party cookies, set directly by this website.
osservatorio-unieticpmi-session: keeps your browsing session, for example while you fill in a form. Expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against fraudulent submissions from other websites. Expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
osservatorio_unieticpmi_consent: remembers the choices you made on the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page. Lasts 6 months.
When you make or change a choice on the banner, we keep a record of it (categories allowed, date, banner version, anonymised IP address and browser type) for 24 months, so that we can demonstrate the consent collected.
Accessibility toolbar preferences (text size, contrast, animations) are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not sent to the website.
Statistics cookies
They are only activated if you consent to the “Statistics” category.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): measures in aggregate form how the site is used, for example the most visited pages and the length of visits. Cookies: _ga and _ga_E78DD23XFP, duration 2 years. Google cookie policy.
The site uses Google Consent Mode v2: until you allow statistics, Google Analytics does not store cookies on your device and may only receive cookieless technical signals.
Marketing cookies
They are only activated if you consent to the “Marketing” category. They measure the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, for example how many event registrations come from an ad, and allow relevant ads to be shown to you on the platforms listed.
LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company). Main cookies: li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, li_fat_id; duration from 1 day to 1 year. LinkedIn cookie policy.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), for Facebook and Instagram. Main cookies: _fbp and fr, duration 3 months. Meta cookie policy.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google, LinkedIn and Meta may process data collected through their cookies outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Managing consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones or choose by category. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. We will ask for your consent again after 6 months.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. In that case some features of the site, such as form submission, may not work properly.
